Dear Parents/carers,                         

Welcome back to Ms. Fryer who has returned from maternity leave for 2 days a week. She is now teaching some classes in both Key Stage 1 and 2 while their classteachers are released for planning and preparation time.

Term Dates for Summer Term 2008

There is a Staff Training Day on Monday, 2 June. The school is therefore closed for children.

Sharing Assemblies in Key Stage 1

All start at 9.15 am in the Infant Hall.

We are again asking for donations of tissues, kitchen roll and plasters. Donations can be left in the Medical room. Thank you in advance.

Helping in Schools

There is a course for parents being held at Highgate Primary School (North Hill, Highgate, London N6) about Helping in Schools. This course (held on Fridays for 11 weeks) will include ‘How Children Learn’, ‘Working with Teachers and Pupils’, ‘An Introduction to the School Curriculum’, ‘The Part you can play in the classroom (including practical skills)’. It also gives you a chance to gain a qualification from the Open College Network. The first session is on Friday, 2 May 2008, at 2.00 pm.
